Capita Men's Kazu Kokubo Pro Snowboard 2021

Product Description

Capita Men's Kazu Kokubo Pro Snowboard 2021

You've seen the video parts. You've drooled at the powder slashes, oohed and awed at the surfy turns down open faces, sat slack-jawed at the massive cliff drops and tranny finders. You know what this board is capable of in the right hands. None of us are Kazu Kokubo, but we can dream, right? The CAPiTA Kazu Kokubo Pro Snowboard is a powder dancer of a board. With a compact directional shape, tapered tail, and setback stance, it floats and slashes like no other. But it also features a long camber profile under foot and Aplitex V-Tex stringers, meaning it packs a punch and has the versatility to keep charging hard even once the fluffy stuff is tracked out.

Product Details

Rocker Type

Alpine V2 Rocker  The ALPINE V2 Profile features lower-body camber with a reverse cambered nose. This allows for maximum turning power while increasing float and landing stability.

Flex

Directional Flex

Flex Rating  6.5 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)

Shape

Directional Shape

Radical Taper  Engineered for deep powder but still versatile around the mountain, this RADIAL sidecut is complemented by a TAPERED TAIL. This narrower tail section naturally sinks in the powder while the wider nose section floats above the snow line. The result is less work and more fun as the board surfs on one smooth continual arc.

Core

FSC Certified Panda Core™  From razor-sharp turns on demand to huge ollies, the PANDA CORE™ was engineered with all-terrain technical freestyle riding in mind. Comprised of a Poplar / Paulownia core and enhanced with inlaid Bamboo Power Rods, this high-density core is strong enough to meet the needs of the all-terrain customer while saving considerable weight.

Laminates

Amplitech™ V-Tech Amplifier  Amplitex™ is a next-generation natural flax fiber woven with carbon strands that is featured in high-end snowboard constructions. This fusion tape brings the best of two worlds: the reactive energy of carbon and the lightweight and dampening aspects of flax. The two fibers are highly compatible since they have similar properties regarding thermal expansion and failure strain, creating a uniformly flexing reinforcement that's light, snappy and durable all in one.

Holysheet™ Fiberglass  The HOLYSHEET™ fiberglass configuration features fiber weaves with a high tensile strength and low modulus of elasticity. With a higher roving count in the same weight of glass, you can have a stronger and more responsive board without adding extra weight. It features Triaxial fiberglass on top of the core and Biaxial fiberglass beneath, creating a perfectly blended ride while increasing strength and durability.

Magic Bean Resin  Developed over a three-year span, this advanced resin system has a bio-content of 60% renewable, agricultural raw material. It is plant based that does not compete with primary food sources and is produced with no waste or greenhouse emissions. In production, it has a low-temperature requirement with a high yield output. This resin system is poppy, powerful, and extremely durable. MAGIC BEAN™ resin yields much stronger and more rigid qualities allowing a decrease in the wood core thickness. The focus is to save wood core weight by increasing resin performance. This means you get a lighter board while achieving higher energy return.

Sidewalls

Full ABS1000 Sidewalls

*If you measure to a whole size in Mondo and it is unavailable, round up to the nearest half size because most ski boots only change shell size at the whole size. (ex. You are US men's 8 and therefore a Mondo size 26. You can go up to a 26.5 because it is the same size shell.)

**Boot sizes may vary slightly by manufacturer so be sure to check the sizing for individual models.
