The infamous third annual Baked Salmon Banked Slalom returns to Mt Seymour March 17, 2018. Only 200 spots available for the race. Pre-registration starts on February 10, 2018 at 12:00pm sharp.
Six categories for the races:
- Masters: 35+ (Men’s and Women’s combined) Racers can choose to join the open category if they prefer.
- Men Open: 17+
- Women Open: 17+
- Boys: 16 and under
- Girls: 16 and under
- Groms: 10 and under
Cost of entry to Baked Salmon is $20. All proceeds go towards Parkinson’s Disease Research. Each participant will receive a limited edition Baked Salmon T-Shirt and Patch with their entry, along with a copy of the latest issue of King Snow Magazine. All participants must have a valid lift ticket or Season Pass. Lift tickets can be purchased at Guest Services on the day of the event. All racers must register in advance, no race day sign ups. Helmets are mandatory to race. Option to add on an extra lift ticket for Sunday March 18, 2018 for only $10. All racers must check-in @ THE HUT to receive their race number.
BBQ and drinks during the event in the Cariboo Beer Garden, with DJ Ricky Mars spinning tunes and custom made trophies by Jasper Fast.

Afford To Board Railjam and Fundraiser/BBQ 0
Very stoked to announce the first Afford To Board Rail jam and Fundraiser/BBQ Feb 3rd on Mt Seymour in The Pit Park.
Come shred the park with some tunes and a BBQ by donation with tons of prizes from Salmon Arms , Cariboo Brewing Coastal Riders, Boardroom and some honey's donuts.
There is also a donation drive for used snowboard gear and outerwear so bring up your old stuff or things you don't use anymore, all of the gear donated and money raised is going directly to the Youth Unlimited charity to help kick start their new winter sports program and help get kids who otherwise wouldn't have the chance up the mountain
